Pardeep Toor grew up in Brampton, ON and currently lives in Las Cruces, NM.
He was awarded the 2021 PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers. His winning story is forthcoming in the Best Debut Short Stories: The PEN America Dau Prize anthology. His writing has also appeared in Electric Literature and the Midwest Review.
